LIFE AS A HOUSE

Life as a House is probably my favourite movie ever!
It's not like the best movie in terms of direction or edition, but is a movie that means a lot to me and is so easy to get identify whit the story.
It was directed by Irwin Winkler (the director of Rocky), he always appeals to the emotions and the sensations of the audience using colors and sounds.
The movie is about an architect (yes, is one of the reasons why i'm studing this), who in the decline of his career and his life, he decide to build the house of his dreams, involving his rebel son on it.
It's a story of self-help and family relations that transmit a sensation of familiarity and makes you want to be in home. While the protagonist build his house, he repair a lot of the foundations of his own personal life.

Also, is one of the first movies of Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) as an actor, performing the young son of the protagonist who has a lot of piercings and blue hair... It's always a pleasure to see him on the screen.

  2. Undoubtedly, such films are rarely found or are not very "known" and that escape the movies of the lot that are currently made
